About Us
Paperella is a childrenswear brand founded in 2021 in London. As a part of Phosephenes of London Ltd with more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, we have always known the pollution the fashion industry has caused to our planet, especially when witnessing the textile waste generated from the cutting room.
We came up with the idea of rescuing textile waste, turning it into beautiful, minimal-waste garments for children. The team spent a lot of time searching and sourcing eco-friendly materials for our products. The whole process of upcycling is like seeing ugly duckling makes its way into a swan. Hence the Paperella name.
We want children to enjoy clothes as much as we enjoy designing and making them. We believe that we need to provide a sustainable childhood for the kids.
All products are all designed and made in London, in support of the British economy. All products are ethically handmade in the UK by a team of highly skilled seamstresses with years of experience. You can notice this in the details of our products, that we love and enjoy what we do. We carefully chose high-quality fabric, which is durable for everyday wear.
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
With our parent company Phosphenes of London Ltd, sustainability is the core of the Paparella brand. We ensure ethical and safe working conditions for our garment workers, promoting equality in the workplace. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, we can encourage circular fashion by limiting waste and overproduction. We aim to promote the UN Sustainable Development goals with our efforts.
